Child Arrangements Support Services

Parenting Plan Service
This service is for parents at any stage of family court proceedings, and will be of particular help to parents wishing to avoid going to court (or indeed returning to court).
The service can be for one parent, but will be even more effective for both parents needing help to devise and agree child arrangements. The focus is a practical one on setting out these arrangements within a Parenting Plan. It will cover all the arrangements, including regular family time and special occasions. It will also include an 'emotional contract' where the parents agree how they behave as co-parents. I provide an example plan on this site, which I call a Child Plan to emphasise that the plan is for and about the child(ren).
To hire for the day will include preparation and follow up support. The day would normally be between 10am and 4pm, including breaks and reflection time. This service can be provided over a number of days if preferred. See Pricing page for fees.
Below is an example of how it works. Contact me to discuss how I can help with making child arrangements plans.
The Process
-
Discuss whether both parents will be involved and that there are no unresolved conflict or risk concerns that would need to be addressed prior to preparing a Parenting Plan.
-
Agree how this service will be provided. arranging to work on the plan throughout a given day has advantages of saving time and focussing efforts.
-
Meeting with each parent individually to discuss their position and key elements they wish to see in a plan.
-
Joint meeting to narrow the issues and set out what can be agreed.
-
Individual time for writing draft plans.
-
Joint meeting to resolve disputes and find agreement.
-
Agreed plan sent to both parents.
