Mentoring Through Court

Court proceedings can be a stressful and confusing time for parents. It can also be a lengthy and costly process. As your mentor I will explain the process and discuss what to expect from court professionals such as Cafcass officers.

• Plan how to work effectively with your Cafcass officer

• Ensure safe child arrangements

• Consider signposting to legal and support services.

• Discover effective dispute resolution and safe agreements

• I can provide expert assessments and reports to court

• I can observe contact and provide an assessment report

• I can act as a McKenzie Friend and provide support throughout the court process
